Jan is a semi retired RN who has lived in the Ventura area for over 25 years. She is married, has an RV and loves to travel, hike and gourmet cook. She has 2 adult children, 2 grandchildren and when her children were young she served as her sons Assistant Boy Scout Leader, Co-lead a Girl Scout Troop, and Church Youth Group and has always enjoyed being a teacher and mentor for youth.

Jan joined the board because as a lover of nature and growing up in the outdoors, she felt it's so important to teach our youth about it and protecting our planet and seeing the beauty that surrounds them.

She also believes instilling positivity and words of encouragement can help empower our youth and assist them to become confident young adults.
